Meet Dr. Jill Miller
Our Leestown Lexington, KY Dentist Has Special Training in Laser Dentistry & Implant Dentistry
Dentistry actually found me. I was a teenager, not really knowing what I wanted to do with my life, and actually, my doctor, my dentist growing up, asked if I wanted to work in her office for the summer. And that summer job turned into all through college, and I worked until I went to dental school. I fell in love with it.
I went to the University of Kentucky for undergrad, as well as dental school. I was surrounded by some of the most world-renowned instructors, and one of the most important things is, in this practice especially, we do not put a cap on education. If there's something we want to learn, we are going to keep going, and we travel all over the U.S., and outside of the U.S., to get some of this knowledge. And as things change, there are times when you look at your patients, and you're realizing, "I can do so much more for you that I didn't know ... I didn't know a few years ago."
And so, this office allows us to actually talk to the patients, and say, "I've just learned something new. Let's talk about this. Let's do this." The patient can only benefit from you continuing your education, and learning more and more. When you can actually give someone back the smile that they've been hiding for years, that is the best part of what we do.
