So, dentistry actually found me. I was offered a job by my dentist growing up for a summer, and it was supposed to only last for three months, but it ended up lasting six years until I went to dental school.
I love getting my patients in. I love working with my hands, and this was a way to actually incorporate both of those. My favorite thing in the world is just seeing someone who can finally smile again, who's been hiding that smile for years. It's just fabulous work and I love people.
So I went to the University of Kentucky to get a bachelor's in science and then I continued at the University of Kentucky for dental school. Following that, there's so much opportunity in this dental community to further your education. So you can pick all these different areas of dentistry that appeal to you, and you can go in as far as you want, or as little as you want. So it really gives us an opportunity to really hone our skills in different areas.
So I have been practicing for about 15 years now, so my patients get 15 years of knowledge plus all the information I've got in school and before school. So every day you're actually able to implement new ideas and you learn from those. It's a wonderful field to be in, and patients can really see a difference when they leave.
Okay. So if you're a new patient that's looking for a new practice, you have found it here. We love to laugh. We love to meet new people. And one of our favorite things is meeting the whole family. We don't see you as a patient. We see you as a friend first.
