Meet Your New Dentists in Lexington

Dr. Trish Takacs opened her first dental practice over three and a half decades ago so that she could practice dentistry the way she wanted to and give her patients the kind of care they deserve. She is dedicated to staying current with leading-edge procedures and technology to give her patients high-quality dental care.

Dr. Dustin Mayrand has a keen interest in dental implants and various surgical procedures. He enjoys being able to provide IV sedation to his patients who experience a high level of anxiety. It is rewarding to him to be able to help his patients get the dental care they need so they can enjoy beautiful smiles.

Dr. Danielle O’Brian fell in love with dentistry watching her father, an orthodontist, at work. She enjoys helping her patients create healthy, happy smiles and giving them more confidence to improve their lives. Dr. Danielle spends much of her free time with her family, Dr. Turner O’Brian and their daughter.

Dr. Turner O’Brian comes from blue-collar roots here in Kentucky. While still in high school, he realized that dentistry was the perfect career for him. Dr. Turner works to build relationships with his patients so he can better understand their needs. His patients love that he is a good listener and helps them feel at ease during their visits.

Treat Your Family to Comprehensive Care
Scheduling and finances can both be challenges for busy families. Our office opens at 7 a.m. Monday through Friday to make it easier to schedule appointments before work or school. To make your family’s care as affordable as possible, you have several ways to pay in addition to insurance. One option is our Smile Saver membership plan. For a flat annual fee, you’ll receive two exams and cleanings and a discount on other dental services.
No matter which treatments you receive, our dentists use advanced technology to make them as quick and comfortable as possible. This ranges from our intraoral cameras, which allow us to examine you with less poking, to rotary endodontics that allow us to more precisely remove infection during root canals.

Modern dental implants function as artificial roots for replacement teeth. Implants are anchored directly in your jawbone, like the roots of natural teeth are. Your jaw bonds to the implants to keep them securely in place. This provides a stable support system for crowns, bridges, or dentures. Implants also stimulate your jawbone and therefore reduce your risk of bone loss, a common consequence after someone loses teeth.
Unlike traditional braces that use metal brackets, bands, and wires, Invisalign uses clear plastic teeth aligners to straighten your teeth. You simply slide the aligners over your teeth and wear them for at least 20-22 hours a day. You can freely remove aligners for eating, brushing, or a special occasion, so long as you put them back in when you’re done.
We know your feelings about a dental cleaning will probably differ from getting dental implants. That's one reason we offer three kinds of sedation, so you can find one that relaxes you for any treatment. Even young children can receive safe and fast-acting laughing gas. Prior to your treatment, we’ll let you know exactly what to expect from your chosen method of sedation.
