Flavored sparkling water continues to be a popular way for people to get their fluids. Unfortunately, it’s also an acidic beverage that could be harming your teeth. We’re sharing a video by Science Insider that talks a bit more about why that is the case:
If you can’t resist your sparkling water indulgence, there are ways you can cut down on acidic exposure to your teeth:
- Sip your drink with a straw
- Wait at least a half hour after you finish before brushing your teeth
- Enjoy it with a meal so your saliva can wash away the acid in the drink
