I enjoy seeing the whole family because we can watch families grow. We see a whole bunch of different things from each age group, and so I think we make it comfortable for every age group, and families can come in together and be seen at the same time. We have enough people to do that. We have different personalities of staff that get along with each personality of a family member, so you can always feel comfortable with somebody here.
We recommend people bringing their kids with them as young as 1, 1 and a half, as soon as they have their first teeth. At least that gets the kid comfortable in the chair. They're not seen necessarily, but they at least get to see us and they're not afraid of us.

Keep Your Child’s Smile in Top Shape
Your child’s first few visits to our office are among the most important of their lives. We encourage bringing a child for a first dental visit around age 2. We’ll gently clean their teeth if they allow it. If not, we’ll examine their mouth as we “count teeth” together. We’ll show them how our equipment can squirt water or blow air. They’ll receive a small toy at the end of their visit. We call these “happy” visits, and we’ll do our best to ensure both you and your child leave our office with smiles on your faces!
As your child gets older, we’ll introduce preventive care like dental sealants and fluoride to protect their teeth from decay and disease. We keep a close eye on their teeth with our DIAGNOdent laser cavity detector. It finds cavities when they are so small our dentists can treat them without injections or pain.
We’ll also monitor your child’s bite and recommend orthodontic care if needed. Dr. Takacs and several of our other dentists are highly trained in straightening teeth. She and our team offer Invisalign and Invisalign Teen, a series of clear plastic teeth aligners that gently move teeth into their proper positions. One of the best things about Invisalign is its speed; many of our patients complete their treatment in as few as 12 months, not the two years or longer that traditional braces can require.
