Use Lumineers To Remake Your Smile
Your smile is important to you, but it doesn’t look as nice as your remember.
For that matter, it doesn’t look as nice as it does in the photos that your parents posted to social media as part of “throwback Thursday,” either.
Seeing those old photos reminded you what your teeth and your smile used to look like. You would like to have that smile again.
You just aren’t sure where to go to make some changes.
We recommend calling any of our three Beaumont Family Dentistry locations. Our dentists help many people in and around Lexington every week. They would love the opportunity to talk to you about how we can help you, too.
If anything surprises us, it may be that more people to not come to us seeking cosmetic services. Several people still come to us but it could easily be more.
How many people do you know who were born with perfect teeth? To be more accurate, how many people do you know who had perfect teeth when their permanent teeth erupted.
We suspect your answer is not many, just one, or no one at all. Most people go through orthodontics or some cosmetic dental procedure to get the smile of their dreams.
One of the most versatile options is veneers. You might even consider this an all-purpose dental improvement tool.
What can veneers do? Pretty much everything short of replacing missing teeth.
Veneers can close gaps between teeth, or they can make teeth look more spread out than they really are.
Veneers can make your crooked teeth look straight, and they can make your worn down or chipped teeth look whole again.
And last but not least, veneer can cause your yellow, dark teeth to look as white and as bright you want.
For people with sensitive teeth, getting veneers may see a little intimidating. The process involves removing part of your teeth to create room for your veneers to fit.
The can be more difficult than it sounds for people with tooth sensitivity issues. It’s also why we offer Lumineers as an option.
Lumineers often can be created without removing any part of your teeth. This is possible because Lumineers are the thinnest veneers on the market today.
To get these composite veneers, the first step is a consultation with one of our dentists. We will examine your teeth to make sure they are healthy enough for procedures.
If everything is good to go, we can make impressions of your teeth. This will be sent to the Lumineers lab, where they will design a custom-fitted set of veneers for your teeth.
In a few weeks, your veneers will be ready and sent to our office. At this point, we will check the fit, and as long as everything is in place, we will bond the veneers to your teeth.
At this point, you should see an almost instantaneous change in your smile.
No matter what your teeth looked like when you started, they can look straighter, whiter, and better than they have in years (and possibly ever).
It’s really that simple.
Talk To One Of Our Dentists
The best way to approach Lumineers, traditional porcelain veneers, or any kind of cosmetic dentistry is to talk with a dentist first.
Our dentists what to understand how you see your smile, and what you would like to change. When we are on the same page, we can recommend the right treatment for you, whether that means Lumineers or something else.
Our concern is helping you get a smile that makes you happy. Nothing makes us feel better than knowing we have done something to help you feel more confident about sharing your smile.
We have locations in Beaumont Centre Circle, Leestown, and Hamburg. If you are not already one of our patients, just contact the office closest to you to set up a consultation.
Our dentist can discuss whether Lumineers are a good option and whether your teeth are healthy enough for veneers. This also is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions that you have about veneers or Lumineers.
We want you to understand what is possible with this cosmetic option.
