Lexington Dentist Receives Highly Acclaimed Dental Innovation Award
LEXINGTON, KY — Dr. Patricia Takacs, a longtime Lexington, KY dental practice owner, was recently recognized by a national dental institute for her success in practice management.
The owner of Beaumont Family Dentistry received the Jim Pride Award for Practice Management during a summit at Spear Education, a leading dental continuing education provider. The honor is given to just one dentist in the entire country.
“It’s amazing to receive such an honor for one of the world’s most respected dental organizations,” Dr. Takacs said. “As a dental trainer, I’ve dedicated much of my time to helping dentists stay on the cutting edge. It’s better for their dental practice and, more importantly, their patients.”
Jim Pride was the founder of Pride Institute, a dental organization that helped dentists improve their clinical skills while improving business practices. He died in 2004. Pride Institute was acquired by Spear this year, and Spear continued the award.
Dr. Takacs has practiced dentistry for more than 35 years. She is a national speaker and dental trainer who teaches dentists about the innovative short-term orthodontic system Fastbraces®. She also has achieved the highest status of Invisalign providers, a recognition attained by only 1 percent of dentists.
“We’ve always been focused on providing quality dentistry, and so the innovation came naturally,” Takacs said. “We love finding new ways to help patients overcome a problem or achieve the smile of their dreams.”
