Invisalign
If you are hoping to avoid metal brackets and wires, you’ll be happy to know that Invisalign uses a series of clear plastic aligners (that are switched out by you at home every two weeks) to create even, comfortable shifting of teeth. Since they are constructed from a plastic material, Invisalign aligners do not cause the rubbing, cutting, poking, or bleeding often experienced when wearing classic braces. Here’s the deal: the aligners are also completely removable! You can them out to eat, drink, clean your teeth, or for snapping selfies. Because they are clear, you can fly under the radar. There won’t be any weird tools or dietary restrictions involved. And the treatment can be completed in a matter of months, depending on the state of affairs in your mouth when we get started.
Invisible Braces
We love Invisalign, but clear aligners aren’t for everyone. That’s why we offer more traditional types of braces that are also designed to be subtle in appearance. Clear ceramic braces are regular-working braces that use clear ceramic brackets for better aesthetics. These braces are much more discreet than traditional braces because they reduce the amount of metal in your mouth. It goes without saying that this option still requires the use of a traditional metal wire, which will be somewhat visible in your mouth. But that is a small price to pay for a better-looking smile.
Fastbraces®
Short on time? We understand. And we have something special for you to think about: Fastbraces®! This program takes a decidedly non-traditional approach to moving teeth into place. Here’s their secret: Fastbraces® is designed to move both the crown and root of the tooth simultaneously using patented triangular brackets and a specialized heat-activated wire. Standard-issue braces move the crown and the root separately, requiring longer treatment times and higher levels of discomfort. But Fastbraces® can deliver the results you need in as little at three months.
Preventive Orthodontics
We can’t say this enough: the foundation for a straight, healthy smile begins at a young age. Preventive orthodontic solutions, or Phase I orthodontics, are used to prepare your child for braces. As it happens, Phase I orthodontics can be implemented around the age of 8 or 9, before all of your child’s permanent teeth have fully developed. We can use space maintainers and other oral appliances to create space or otherwise alter your child’s jaw in preparation for later orthodontic treatment. This helps to ensure the success of Phase II treatment (or eliminate the need for it).
Dentofacial Orthopedics
Have you heard about dentofacial orthopedics? This is the process of guiding a child’s growth in order to normalize the bone structure of their face and jaws. Oral appliances and other techniques can be used to change the way your child’s jaw is developing in order to create a better bite, teeth alignment, and to prepare them for Phase II orthodontic treatment.
