Same-Day Smile in Lexington, KY Restores Your Smile With No Waiting
With all the benefits of dental implants, there are a few possible downsides. One of them is a potentially long healing process. While it’s not a big deal for a single tooth or even a few teeth, it certainly can be if you want to replace all your teeth. Good news – you may be a candidate for a same-day smile!
With this innovative procedure, you’ll:
- Get a brand-new smile, with both implants and replacement teeth, in a single appointment.
- Enjoy normal oral function right away.
- Remain comfortable with the option of dental sedation if you need it.
- Benefit from the expertise of our implant dentists.
A consultation with one of our Lexington dentists is the first step in finding out whether this procedure will work for you. We provide consultations regarding treatment for a minimal diagnostic fee. Call, 859-554-1772 for new patients, or call 859-223-2120 for existing patients to schedule one. If you’ve already spoken to another dentist, second opinions are complimentary!
Mini Implants & 3D Imaging Make a Same-Day Smile Procedure Possible
We use mini dental implants, which are smaller and less invasive to place, for our same-day dentistry. Before your procedure, we use 3D imaging to carefully plan where each implant will go. We also use computer-guided technology to place each implant, which leaves little room for error. It also facilitates faster healing.
After your implants are placed, our dentists will immediately attach a load-bearing implant-retained denture. The denture is anchored to the implants using ball attachments. We can perform this procedure in your upper jaw, lower jaw, or both. Enjoy a brand-new smile right away!
With Dental Sedation, Don’t Worry About Discomfort
You’ll be thoroughly numbed with local anesthesia for your same-day smile procedure. However, if you’re nervous or worried about discomfort, you can get dental sedation as well. Unlike most general dentists, we offer three kinds:
- Inhaled sedation, or “laughing gas”
- Oral sedation
- IV sedation
