LEXINGTON, KY — Dr. Patricia Takacs, who operates Beaumont Family Dentistry in Lexington, recently appeared in the leading business publication, Inc. Magazine, April edition.

Dr. Takacs was featured in the full-page spread called “Success Today” that chronicled her dental accomplishments. Dr. Takacs is an expert in Fastbraces — a short-term orthodontic system that can straighten teeth in as little as 20 weeks — and has completed training at some of the most prestigious dental institutions.

“It was a pleasure to sit down to discuss some of the ways in which my business has grown over the years,” Dr. Takacs said. “Hopefully other business owners across the country can find a few nuggets of wisdom by reading the article.”

Dr. Takacs was selected for the feature by the National Association of Experts, Writers & Speakers, an organization dedicated to recognizing business owners and entrepreneurs. Dr. Takacs was selected because of her business model and her focus on education and community outreach.

Dr. Takacs started her practice in 1984 and now operates three locations in Lexington. She told Inc. Magazine:

Dr. Takacs credits her grandfather, who was a dentist, for influencing her career path. She attended West Virginia University and was accepted into dental school after her junior year. She went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry with high honors in 1983. Before attending dental school, she worked in a dental office in Vienna and Williamstown, WV.

Dr. Takacs has advanced training from the Spear Learning Continuum and has completed a mini residency in sleep medicine at Tufts University. She holds memberships with the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, Bluegrass Dental Society, Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, Academy of Gp Orthodontics, and Academy of Laser Dentistry.
