LEXINGTON, KY – All local residents who bleed University of Kentucky Wildcat Blue can see Beaumont Family Dentistry as a sponsor for legendary UK sports writer Larry Vaught.
Larry Vaught is a long-time UK sports supporter and award-winning writer whose columns are carried in 25 newspapers across Kentucky. He began covering UK sports in 1975. Vaught announced the partnership with Beaumont Family Dentistry on his blog “Vaught’s Views” at http://vaughtsviews.com/2016/03/beaumont-family-dentistry-supports-uk-athletics.
“UK sports fans are some of the best and brightest in the country, and Larry has been a staple in UK sportswriting for decades,” said Dr. Patricia Takacs, who operates Beaumont Family Dentistry. “Being a Lexington dental office, the topic of Wildcat sports comes up every day between the staff and the patients.”
Each of the six dentists at Beaumont Family Dentistry graduated from University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. Beaumont Family Dentistry will sponsor Vaught’s blog on the local NBC affiliate lex18.com. Dr. Takacs said members of the office have looked to Vaught’s writing for information about UK athletics and game results.
“Each dentist in our office is a product of University of Kentucky and we’re still huge supporters of Wildcat athletics, so now we are happy to be a sponsor of Larry Vaught’s highly regarded blog,” Dr. Takacs said. “With this partnership, we hope more readers will be exposed to Larry’s great work.”
