LEXINGTON, KY – Looking for a good dentist in Lexington with great reviews? Beaumont Family Dentistry has again been named by local newspaper readers as the best dental practice in Lexington.

The Lexington Herald-Leader Readers’ Choice Awards asks readers and local residents to cast their votes for the best services in town, from medial services to restaurants. The voting period lasts about a month. This year’s contest gathered more than 130,000 votes in its 11th year. Beaumont Family Dentistry was voted as the best dental practice in Lexington in 2016 as well.

“It’s the highest recognition to be honored by those in your community,” said Dr. Patricia Takacs, who operates Beaumont Family Dentistry. “Our staff is dedicated to giving every patient great care, regardless of their dental complications. We never lecture our patients about the state of their mouths. We want them to look to us as a place of comfort and healing.”

Dr. Takacs credits her grandfather, who was a dentist, for influencing her career path. She attended West Virginia University and was accepted into dental school after her junior year. She went on to graduate from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry with high honors in 1983. Before attending dental school, she worked in a dental office in Vienna and Williamstown, WV.

Dr. Takacs has advanced training from the Spear Learning Continuum and has completed a mini residency in sleep medicine at Tufts University. She holds memberships with the American Dental Association, Kentucky Dental Association, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, Bluegrass Dental Society, Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, Academy of Gp Orthodontics, and Academy of Laser Dentistry.
