Dr. Trish Takacs founded her own practice over three decades ago so that she could give her patients the skilled and compassionate care they deserve. Now that her two children, Dr. Kyle Golibersuch and Dr. Ryan Golibersuch, have joined her in dentistry, we truly are a family dental team. No matter what kind of quick dental treatment you and your family need, you’ll find it here.
Over the years, our team has treated just about every imaginable dental dilemma. There probably isn’t an emergency that we haven’t helped a patient through. Below are some types of emergency problems that we routinely treat. We have also included some critical steps to take if you experience one of these emergencies:
- Knocked-Out Tooth – Retrieve the tooth by the crown (white part), being careful not to touch the roots. Place it in a container of milk, salt water, or saliva and bring it with you.
- Toothache – First, rinse your mouth with warm water, then apply an ice pack or cold compress to your cheek to help with pain and swelling.
- Loose Crown – Using a small amount of dental cement or toothpaste on the inside surface of the crown, try to reattach it if possible. Be sure to bring it to your appointment if it won’t stay in place.
- Soft-Tissue Injury – If your tongue, cheek, lips, or gums are bleeding, apply a small piece of gauze or a tea bag to stop the bleeding. If it won’t stop, head to the nearest emergency room or urgent treatment center.
